"I've just viewed the wedding video for the first time and felt compelled to write and let you know just how delighted we are with your fine work. Your overview of the day combined with detail footage of minor, but significant, moments has captured exactly the atmosphere and feeling of wellbeing of the whole occassion. I don't know much about your line of business, but I recognise good work when I see it. The editing, the music, your attention to detail.....the whole deal.....it's outstanding ! Thankyou so much for all your efforts."

Rodel Church & Talla na Mara, Isle of Harris, Rachel & Chris

The stunning setting of the Island of Harris was the location for Rachel & Chris’s wedding.  Friends and family travelled from all over to witness their vows and rings being exchanged with Rev Dr David Donaldson performing the marriage ceremony.

Photographer Lynne Kennedy arranged the formal family photo-shoot around the historic Rodel Church before taking Rachel & Chris away for the more intimate photo shoots around the un-spoilt beaches of Harris.

Speeches commenced at the new arts centre, Talla na Mara, with father of the bride, Alister, welcoming Chris in to the family before Best Man Eamonn ensured Chris was kept on his toes !

Lisa & Domhnall Iain, Rodel, Isle of Harris

Dec 06, 2011

Lisa & Domhnall Iain married at the historic St Clements Church in Rodel, Isle of Harris with the marriage ceremony conducted by a cousin of Domhnall Iain’s, Rev Angus Morrison.

Following the service Leila Angus of Brighter Still Photography arranged the photo shoot with family and friends before taking them inside St Clements Church for the more intimate shots.

Afterwards at Rodel Hotel, Lisa had one quick photo outside on the pier and she was brave to withstand the cold, the same could not be said about the men in kilts !

Craig introduced the speeches and the Best Man, Alastair, got the embarrassing stories of Domhnall Iain under-way, revealing the jobs that Domhnall Iain pursued on Harris!  The speeches were rounded off with the ushers reading out the cards of friends and family from all over the world.

Before the first dance the couple were treated to the most amazing fireworks display that probably the island of Harris has ever seen!

Enjoy the highlights.
